October is the 8th anniversary of my first
publication.
Throughout the month, I’m celebrating my novels and
nonfiction writing guides.
Today, another writing guide:
Discovering Your Plot covers six types of plot
structures and the necessities of genre expectations. Pacing, tension,
suspense, and sequencing of events are key elements used by master
storytellers.
Available in ebook. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0838PTN49

For paperback lovers, Discovering Characters is
bundled with 3 other guidebooks in Discovering Your Writing.

Designed as a companion volume to Discovering Characters, DiscPlot began as a blog series. I thought it would be easy to turn into a book. Nope. I increased each blog post by twice or three times its original length. It's 51 words short of 34,000, which is considered loonng for many writing guidebooks.
The whole Discovering set of guidebooks and files are in a computer folder called "Crafting". These are all writing craft books.
The five books in the Discovering set are ...
Discovering Your Novel, in both ebook and paperback.
Discovering Characters
Discovering Your Plot
Discovering Your Author Brand
Discovering Sentence Craft
The final four (C, P, AB, and SC) are available individually as ebooks only. They are compiled for paperback in the bundle Discovering Your Writing (as stated above).
